Tax benefit for a new-build home
When buying a new-build villa, there is no transfer tax but IVA (purchase tax).

This scheme applies specifically to new-build homes and not, for example, to large-scale renovations of existing homes. In that case, the 21% IVA rate continues to apply to the construction costs.
